Jaki Kernechel joined the firm as an associate in 2007. She concentrates her practice on estate planning and administration, same-sex couples law, civil union law, and family law. In addition to these areas of law, Ms. Kernechel has experience in automobile lemon law and consumer law.

Ms. Kernechel graduated magna cum laude from Cedarville University with a bachelor of arts degree in applied psychology. She received her Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from Temple University Beasely School of Law in Philadelphia, where she is currently pursuing an LL.M. in taxation and estate planning.

Prior to embarking on a law career, Ms. Kernechel worked in the field of behavioral health care and as a drug and alcohol treatment specialist.

Born and raised in Allentown, Pennsylvania, Ms. Kernechel now resides with her partner, Robin, in Philadelphia.
