CA Assembly Sends Marriage Equality Bill to Governor

SACRAMENTO—By a slim majority, the California Assembly passed a law defining marriage as a contract between two persons. It is not clear whether the bill will be signed by Governor Schwartzeneger, who in the past has given mixed signals about the issue. More later.
