S2518 Amends NJ Family Leave Act

Includes domestic partners as family members under New Jersey Family Leave Act.
This bill includes domestic partners among the list of individuals who are eligible to participate in and receive benefits under the New Jersey Family Leave Act.
Under the act, a qualified employee is entitled to a family leave of up to 12 weeks in any 24-month period to care for a family member who has a serious health condition. This bill amends the definition of family member
to specifically include domestic partners.
