Good Day,
I was registerd as a domestic partner in the state of NJ (I believe in 1999). I no longer live there and need to know how to terminate the DP.

Since the New Jersey Domestic Partnership only went into effect on July 10, 2004, it is not possible for you to have registered here. It may be that you mean that you registered with a private employer. If that is the case, there is no termination procedure for this since there would be no legal recognition of the partnership.
If, on the other hand, you had registered in a Vermont civil union in 1999, you would be able to terminate this in New Jersey.
